Congressmen Say the Darndest Things

I heard Congressman Bill Shuster on WRTA this morning (April 25, 2006) blame his father, George Bush, and the Republican Party for the high prices at the gasoline pump.  Well, he didn't say it in exactly those words, but he did say that if the energy bill that passed last year had been passed five years ago there wouldn't be the problem with gas prices we see today.  So who was in power and sleeping on the job five years ago?  Well, that would be George Bush and the Republican Party, including Daddy Shuster.  Out of the mouth of babes!
